under的用法

under可用作介词， 有在…表面下; 由…覆盖着; 少于; 小于等含义；可用作形容词，有较低的，下面的等含义；用作副词，有在下面，小于等含义。

一.用作介词，基本义为“在……下”。

under the table 在桌下

under the bed 在床下

under the tree 在树下

1.到或进入比…低的位置或地方

rolled the ball under the couch.
